DAY 01 | Air Port - Pinnawala - Dambulla

We pick up from the Airport or your hotel then we move to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage was established to feed, nurse and house young elephants found abandoned by their mothers. Young elephants sometimes fall into pits and ravines in their quest for water during drought period. Other orphans have been displaced from their wild habitat by development projects or have been found abandoned before weaning, diseased or wounded.Now There were 78-85 elephants living here.

You have chance to feed baby elephants , take snap shots with Asian elephants watching elephant gang bathing and more elephants activities.

After the lunch ,Then we reach to Dambulla , evening visit Dambulla Cave Temple.

Dambulla Caves Temple is world heritage site .This temple complex dates back to the first century BCE. It has five caves under a vast overhanging rock, carved with a drip line to keep the interiors dry.Inside the caves, the ceilings are painted with intricate patterns of religious images following the contours of the rock.The Dambulla cave monastery is still functional and remains the best-preserved ancient edifice in Sri Lanka. This complex dates from the third and second centuries BC, when it was already established as one of the largest and most important monasteries.

Then we reach to our Hotel

DAY 02 | Dambulla - Polonnaruwa - Minneriya - Dambulla

After the breakfast we move to Polonnaruwa for visit Polonnaruwa Ancient City.

Polonnaruwa was the second capital of Sri Lanka after the destruction of Anuradhapura in 993. It comprises, besides the Brahmanic monuments built by the Cholas, the monumental ruins of the fabulous garden-city created by Great king Parakramabahu in the 12th century. Polonnaruw is very importent because why that is main place we can found lot of granaite arts we selected main important sites for visit (some words are dificult to you but dont miss understand we discribe all things in your tour).

After we reach to Minneriya for wild safari.First we should move to 4×4 jeep for Safari.

Minneriya National park’s fauna species include 24 species of mammals, 160 species of birds, 9 species of amphibians, 25 species of reptiles, 26 species of fish, and 75 species of butterflies. Large numbers of Sri Lankan elephants are attracted to grass fields on the edges of the reservoir during the dry season.The Historical  Minneriya tank contributes to sustain a large herd. Elephants gathered here is numbering around 150-200.Tourists visit Minneriya largely because of elephants, especially in dry season.
Then we reach to our hotel.

DAY 03 | Dambulla - Sigiriya - Kandy

After the Breakfast (You should get strong breakfast because why you have to climb Sigiriya rock fortress but don’t be a afraid it is not hard work) we move to Sigiriya rock Fortress .

Sigiriya Rock fortress consists of an ancient citadel built by King Kashyapa during the 5th century. The Sigiriya site contains the ruins of an upper palace located on the flat top of the rock, a mid-level terrace that includes the Lion Gate and the mirror wall with its frescoes, the lower palaces located behind the lavish lower gardens, and moats and ramparts which protected the citadel. The site was both a palace and a fortress. The upper palace on the top of the rock includes cisterns cut into the rock. The moats and walls that surround the lower palace are exquisitely beautiful.

First you should visit Sigiriya Museum because it is the best way for get good idea what is the Sigiriya? After viist museum then we start climb Sigiriya Rock fortress.

After come back take the lunch and  we move to Kandy via Matale (72 Km journey). On the way you have to chance visit Herbal spice gardens at Matale. Some times it is very interesting for you if you like Ayurveda you can see what are the raw plants use for Ayurveda and best spices for food.

When we reach to Kandy first we go to visit Cultural dancing show. Cultural dancing show include all sri lankan cultural dances so it is the best way get good dancing snap shots for you .

After we reach to hotel and get fresh and move to visit Kandy Tooth temple.

This is very traditional impotent and respectful place for sri lankans so you need wear long  skirts or trouser don’t wear handles blouses , shirts  and see thru clothes.

Sri Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha. Since ancient times, the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country. Still every leader should promised public  to protect the Tooth relic. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage Site mainly due to the temple.

After we move to our hotel.

DAY 04 | Kandy - Peradeniya - Nuwara Eliya

After the breakfast we move to Peradeniya for visit Peradeniya botnical gardens.

Peradeniya Botanical Gardens includes more than 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. Attached to it is the National Herbarium of Sri Lanka.

The origins of the Botanic Gardens date as far back as 1371 when King Wickramabahu III ascended the throne and kept court at Peradeniya near the Mahaweli river. This was followed by King Kirti Sri and King Rajadhi Rajasinghe. A temple was built on this location by King Wimala Dharma, but it was destroyed by the British when they were given control over the Kingdom of Kandy.

During World War II, the Botanical Garden was used by Lord Louis Mountbatten, the supreme commander of the allied forces in the South Asia, as the headquarters of the South East Asia Command.

Move to Nuwara Eliya via tea mountains on the way you can visit Ramboda waterfalls.

On the way we have chance to visit Tea Factory, Sri Lanka is the world famous for natural flavored Tea. Now you have chance to  see the  tea process step by step. And you can buy tea for your friends to retails price.

Nuwara Eliya city name meaning is “city on the plain (table land)” or “city of light”.  It is located at an altitude of 1,868 m (6,128 ft) and is considered to be the most important location for tea production in Sri Lanka. The city is overlooked by Pidurutalagala, the tallest mountain in Sri Lanka. Nuwara Eliya is also known for the temperate, cool climate, the city is known for being the coolest area in Sri Lanka.

Evening you have relax time or take city tour and walk or bicycle ride around Gragery lake park.

Move to our hotel.

DAY 05 | Nuwara Eliya - Horton Plains - Nuwra Eliya

After the breakfast we reach to Horton Plains National Park.

Horton Plains is a popular tourist destination, with World’s End being the key attraction.It is a sheer cliff, with a drop of about 4,000 feet (1,200 m).

you can see Baker’s Falls, a waterfall formed by Belihul Oya, a tributary of the Walawe River is named after Sir Samuel Baker, a hunter and explorer who attempted to establish a European agricultural settlement at Nuwara Eliya.

Horton Plains National park  includes 24 species of mammals, 87 species of birds, nine species of reptiles and eight species of amphibians. elephant disappeared from the region in the 1940s at the latest. At present, the largest and the most commonly seen mammal is the sambar deer. Sometimes you can see rusty-spotted cat, Sri Lankan leopards and wild boars.

DAY 06 | Nuwara Eliya - Airport or Hotel

After the Breakfast we pack our all thing and move to visit Nuwara Eliya Tea Factory.

Sri Lanka is the world famous for natural flavored Tea.Now you have chance to visit Tea factory and see the  process tea step by step. And you can buy tea for your friends to retails price.

On the way you can visit Devon Water Falls and St.Clare Water fall.

Then move to Air port or your hotel.

If you have morning flight we should leave early morning so we can visit tea factory in day 4 so you don’t miss any, please mention it in your tour inquiry .
