In the morning we pick you from the Airport or from your hotel and then we move to visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage was established to feed, nurse and house young elephants found abandoned by their mothers. Young elephants sometimes fall into pits and ravines in their quest for water during drought period. Other orphans have been displaced from their wild habitat by development projects or have been found abandoned before weaning, diseased or wounded.Now There are 78-85 elephants living here.

You have chance to fruit /milk feed baby elephants , take photos and can witness a large number of elephant herd bath at “Maha oya”

After having the lunch , in the evening we visit Dambulla Cave Temple.

Dambulla Caves Temple is world heritage site .This temple complex dates back to the first century BCE. It has five caves under a vast overhanging rock, carved with a drip line to keep the interiors dry.Inside the caves, the ceilings are painted with intricate patterns of religious images following the contours of the rock.The Dambulla cave monastery is still functional and remains the best-preserved ancient edifice in Sri Lanka. This complex dates from the third and second centuries BC, when it was already established as one of the largest and most important monasteries.

Then we reach to our Hotel at Dambulla.


After having the breakfast be prepared to burn some calories, yes you have to climb up some steps. not so hard, but bit adventurous.

Sigiriya Rock fortress consists of an ancient citadel built by King Kashyapa during the 5th century. The Sigiriya site contains the ruins of an upper palace located on the flat top of the rock, a mid-level terrace that includes the Lion Gate and the mirror wall with its frescoes, the lower palaces located behind the lavish lower gardens, and moats and ramparts which protected the citadel. The site was both a palace and a fortress. The upper palace on the top of the rock includes cisterns cut into the rock. The moats and walls that surround the lower palace are exquisitely beautiful.

Better you visit Sigiriya Museum first, because it is the best way to get an idea what is  “Sigiriya”?  Then we can start climbing up.

After descend we take the lunch and move to Polonnaruwa  for ancient city tour.

Polonnaruwa was the second capital of Sri Lanka after the destruction of Anuradhapura in 993. It comprises, besides the Brahmanic monuments built by the Cholas, the monumental ruins of the fabulous garden-city created by Great king Parakramabahu in the 12th century. Polonnaruw is very importent because why that is main place we can found lot of granaite arts we selected main important sites for visit (some words are difficult to you but dont get confused we will describe all things in your tour).

We move to Dambulla Hotel.


After the Breakfast we start our journey towards Kandy via Matale (72 Km journey). On the way you have a chance visit Herbal spice gardens at Matale if you wish. They’ll explain all you need to know about Lankan spices and Ayurveda herbs

When we reach to Kandy we go to visit Temple of Tooth.

Temple of tooth considered as the most sacred place among Sri Lankans, and please respect the rituals and obey the rules. Short skirts, short trousers, sleeveless tops, see through clothes not allowed. No photography in the museum. Be calm and quiet.

Sri Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha. Since ancient times, the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country. Still every leader should promised public  to protect the Tooth relic. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage Site mainly due to the temple.

start the journey again to Nuwara Eliya via tea mountains. on the way we can visit Ramboda waterfalls and Tea Factory .

Sri Lanka is the world famous for natural flavored Tea. You have chance to visit Tea factory and see the  tea process  step by step. And you can buy tea for your friends to retails price. Drink cup of tea and move to Nuwara Eliya.

Nuwara Eliya city name meaning is “city on the plain (table land)” or “city of light”.  It is located at an altitude of 1,868 m (6,128 ft) and is considered to be the most important location for tea production in Sri Lanka. The city is overlooked by Pidurutalagala, the highest mountain in Sri Lanka. Nuwara Eliya is also known for the temperate, cool climate, the city is known for being the coolest area in Sri Lanka. and for vegetables too.

In the evening you can take a city tour / walk or bicycle ride around Gregory lake park.

Night stay at Nuwara Eliya.


After the Breakfast we  move to Yala via ella – wellawaya route.

Nuwara eliya – Ella – Yala is very attractive route among travelers . You can see nice waterfalls and nice scenic places . Ella is major tourist destination, we can see the famous Ella gap which has the view far ends of southern east parts of sri lanka. and take our lunch at Ella.

On the way We can see Demodara Nine Arch bridge and Rawana Water Fall.

In the evening or next day morning (according to your time schedule) we go Jeep safari at Yala.

Yala National Park is the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka.Yala National Park has a variety of ecosystems including moist monsoon forests, dry monsoon forests, semi deciduous forests, thorn forests, grasslands, fresh water and marine wetlands, and sandy beaches.

Yala is one of the 70 Important Bird Areas (IBAs) in Sri Lanka. Of 215 bird species of the park, seven are endemic to Sri Lanka. Including Sri Lankan elephant, 44 species of mammals are resident in Yala National Park, and it has one of the highest leopard densities in the world. 25 individual leopards are estimated to roam in Block I. The elephant herd of Yala contains 300–350 individuals. Sri Lankan sloth bear, Sri Lankan leopard, Sri Lankan elephant, wild water buffalo are threatened species that Yala is harboring.

Morning move to Colombo via Matara Colombo High way. If you have time we can go Colombo city tour and reach to airport or if you need to drive via coastal line we can do so.

  • Sri Lankan People are friendly and will smile with you for no reason, it doesn’t mean an insult or joke of you. Smile back.
  • Do not Feed wild animals at national parks & do not attempt to take selfies with them.
  • No stepping out from the jeeps at the national parks.
  • Short trousers and mini skirts are not allowed at Temple of Tooth – Kandy, & please be kind to remove your shoes and hats   before entering to a Buddhist temple.
